Racemes of pale yellow flowers hang from zig-zagging bare stems in late winter, then new leaves emerge bright, acid yellow with a red tint, then quickly turn golden yellow with partial sun or light green in full shade. Listed usually as a zone 6, but we have them successfully thriving here at zone 5 Rocky Dale!
