Compact rounded dense shrub; profuse white flowers ahead of half-inch vivid-red berries that birds love. Attracts bees/butterflies. Silvery smooth bark; leathery dark-green oval leaves that turn purple in fall. Prefers moist acidic soil, but tolerates dry soils.
